German Silver Dessert & Citrus Set - Hannover 1900

An original 7-piece German dessert/fruit set consisting of 6 forks and 1 special citrus/fruit tool, made of 800 silver with gilded heads. All pieces bear the German imperial silver hallmarks (crescent moon, crown, and “800”) and the same Z-shaped maker’s mark, attributable to Gustav Zickfeld, Hannover. This type of small, finely made dessert set with a citrus tool featuring a top hook was produced exclusively around 1885–1910, making it an excellent and collectible example of turn-of-the-century North German silverwork. The matching hallmarks on all 7 pieces confirm that the set is original and complete, not assembled from different sources.
