Three blue & white porcelain saucers, decorated with a garden scene and Chenghua mark. China - Kangxi period (1662-1722) and 19th century The first two saucers are from the Kangxi period. The third saucers is a 19th century example. All saucers have the Chenghua four-character mark. The saucers are decorated to the central roundel with a lady reclining upon rockwork underneath a prunus tree while a small boy plays with a ball, the rim with four cartouches containing leafy fruits against a trellis ground, the reverse with precious beribboned objects (babao) and a central Chenghua mark within concentric circles First saucer: Minuscule fritting on the foot (photos 14-15). A small iron spot on the edge of the central roundel (photo 16). Second saucer: Minuscule fritting on the foot (photo 29). Third saucer: Less refined than the Kangxi period saucers. Pollution on the central roundel (photo 31 and last photo). Some fritting and small chips on the foot (photos 42-44). Combined weight = 155 g In good condition. Normal traces of age and use. Checked with UV-light and bright white light. For a good impression, please watch all photos carefully. Insured shipping. Can also be collected in Ghent, Belgium.
