Authentic vintage cycling jersey of Renault Gitane Campagnolo of 1982 when French legend Bernard Hinault was part of the team. The team was created in 1978 after the Renault auto group purchased the Gitane bicycle manufacturer and became the main sponsor of the Gitane–Campagnolo cycling team. During the 1978-1983 period Hinault won the Tour de France four times, and the Vuelta a España and the Giro d'Italia twice each. Hinault won several classics as well such as Liège–Bastogne–Liège, Paris–Roubaix, Giro di Lombardia, the Amstel Gold Race and the 1980 World Cycling Championships.
