Reloj - Jaeger-LeCoultre - - Latón dorado - 1940-1950

LeCoultre 8 Days mechanical alarm travel / desk clock – made for the American market – brass case From collection to collection! An honest, original-condition and less commonly encountered LeCoultre mechanical travel / desk clock, from the LeCoultre-signed version produced for the American market. The eight-day power reserve, hand-wound mechanical movement starts immediately after winding, functions perfectly and keeps accurate time. The alarm function operates flawlessly: it rings clearly, loudly and for an extended duration at the set time, and can be stopped instantly using the upper push button. The rear controls for time and alarm setting also operate smoothly and precisely. Original off-white dial, in particularly nice condition with light, even patina. Applied gold-toned hour markers and hands, with a classic Art Deco–style inner decorative frame. The dial has not been refinished or restored, fully retaining its original character. Solid brass / gilt-brass case, entirely metal, with natural patina consistent with its age. On the front left side of the case, a more visible area of surface patina / oxidation is present; the material itself is not damaged. Structurally, the case is in very solid condition: the rivets are tight, not loose; the hinged base is stable and functions securely and as intended. The caseback screws hold firmly, and the overall structural integrity of the case is excellent. Aside from surface patina and oxidation, the piece is mechanically and structurally very sound and well preserved. Dimensions (folded/closed position): – Height: 85 mm – Width: 57 mm – Depth: 24 mm Estimated production period: approx. 1940s–1950s (based on model, markings and movement characteristics) The photographs form part of the clock’s description. carefully packaging and registered shipping from EU
