A set of 2 matching original advertising posters (offset), to be dated around 1950 for the famous Antwerp ZOO. A very cute baby sea-elephant and a young lowlandgorilla look the spectator in the eye and promote the ZOO, best reached by train as the byline and the B-logo of the Belgian Railway-company says.
The graphic artists (Studio Peso) succeed very well in conveying the message in two striking 'Fifties' - designs. It is the first time that we can offer an English version of this set.
Printing: Lithocart, Antwerp
Condition A: a few light wrinkles in the corners, otherwise in mint condition.
Shipping: In a sturdy tube with track & trace.
