An elegant set of four 19th century French Louis XV style finely carved beechwood dining chairs, luminous in colour and harmoniously shaped, finely decorated with haut-relief flower and foliate motifs and with hand carved raised mouldings, the backs and seats fitted with the original hand-woven cane. Area of Paris, circa 1880.
Price is for the set of 4.
Condition report: In general good condition however they show some sing of using and damage as shown at the latest pictures. . One of the chair seats requiring repairs to the woven cane.
Dimensions: Width seat 51 cm, height of backs 90cm. Seat Hight 45 cm.
