An authentic Edwardian-era brass Trump Indicator, used for the card games of Whist and Bridge. This desktop accessory features a rotating inner dial that displays the four suits (Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs) and "No Trumps." The front is clearly stamped with the registration mark RD 449879, identifying the design as British and dating it to approximately 1905. The piece stands on a weighted, flared circular base and is operated by a knurled knob at the top. Condition: Solid antique condition. The brass has a dark, unpolished patina consistent with its age.
