Along the lower area, a subtle horizontal horizon appears, formed exclusively by variations in sheen and texture of the black surface itself. There is no added contrast or secondary color—only light interacting with matter, producing a shifting perception depending on the viewing angle.
The work relies on restraint, repetition of gesture, and economy of elements, creating a dense, elegant, and deeply introspective atmosphere. Black Stile does not seek impact or drama, but a solid and silent presence that reveals itself slowly.
