A Japanese Iga-style flower vase with a tall cylindrical form, fired at high temperature to produce natural ash glaze and rich earthy textures.
The surface shows characteristic features of Iga ware, including subtle kiln effects and variations in colour created during firing.
The rustic yet balanced form reflects a wabi-sabi aesthetic and works well both for ikebana and as a standalone decorative object.
This piece comes with its original wooden box (tomobako) with inscription.
