Celtic Bronze Bracelet – 10th–6th Century BC – Ø 74 mm – 52.02 g

A finely crafted Celtic bronze bracelet dating to the Late Bronze Age to Early Iron Age, between the 10th and 6th centuries BC. The bracelet features a circular open form with subtle widening towards the terminals and is beautifully decorated with a series of finely incised geometric patterns along its entire outer surface. These diagonal and cross-hatched engravings were likely symbolic, representing craftsmanship, identity, or status among early Celtic communities. The artistry and precision of these decorations speak to a high level of metallurgical skill typical of the period.

The surface displays a well-preserved green patina with areas of light earthen deposits, enhancing its authenticity and ancient character. Despite minor age-related wear, the piece remains intact, solid, and highly tactile—an excellent example of wearable art from prehistoric Europe. Such bracelets were both ornamental and emblematic, possibly signifying rank or belonging within a tribal society.
