The instrument is ready to play with no visible cracks and new boxwood set up. The violin has two pieces back made from beautiful flamed maple with matched sides, neck and scroll; the table is likewise matching of high quality, straight high grained spruce. The purfling has been painstakingly inlaid front and back. Original golden amber varnish remains in excellent condition. The whole length of the violin is 59,4 cm and the back 36,3 cm.
