This is a highly limited rarity. Jasper Newton Daniel was born in 1850 and, at the age of 16, took over the distillery equipment from his neighbor, a pastor who had taught him the craft. In 1905, Jack contracted an illness when he couldn't open his safe and kicked it. The broken toe never healed and ultimately cost him his life in 1911. Aroma: Sweet bourbon vanilla and wood smoke, along with caramel and fruit notes. Taste: Smooth and rounded on the tongue. It opens with a blend of caramel, vanilla, and notes of spicy-sweet oak. Finish: Medium-long and slightly dry with fine vanilla, white pepper and sweet oak.
