A fabulous large vintage silk square or carré by Hermès, "Cuivreries".
A 1985 reissue of an original 1963 design by Françoise de la Perriere, one of their most popular artists.
The design depicts a pair of cart horses on a central motif, surrounded by detailed depictions of their bridles in gold, on ivory background with deep blue border. Hand rolled hem.
