David Gerstein, nacido en Jerusalén, 1944.
Estudió y enseñó en la Bezalel Academy of arts in Jerusalem; Beaux Arts, Paris; Art Students' League, N.Y; St. Martin's, Londres.
Exhibió exposiciones individuales en el Israel Museum, el Haifa Museum y el Herzliya Museum, y en innumerables galerías públicas y privadas en Israel, Europa y América.
