Two Chinese porcelain Meissen style plates A pair of porcelain plates, each measuring circa 22,7cm in diameter and together weighing 632g, with fine famille rose and gilded decoration after similar examples produced at Meissen. The central cartouches depicting a harbour scene with European figures and ships. An inner spearhead border and an outer border containing four smaller vignettes with landscapes in grisaille and pink enamels. Not marked. Qianlong period, ca. 1750. Condition: One plate with faint glaze crazing on the front. The other plate with minor fritting and a small hairline 16mm with associated chip. No other damage and no restoration.
