« This vintage poster, signed by Tory in 1925, promotes the town of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains as part of an advertising campaign by the PLM company. It shows a little girl with rosy cheeks in the mountainous setting of the Saint-Gervais spa resort, the ‘children's paradise’. The town owes this title to the creation of the first home for disabled children in 1925 (followed by a dozen others). This explains the cane on which the girl is leaning. »
