Egermann - Jarrón - Cristal - Jarrón Kristall Morado

Egermann (Nový Bor) – Light Purple “Olives” Optic Vase – 30 cm This tall, elegant vase comes from Egermann, one of the best-known names connected with the Bohemian glassmaking tradition of Nový Bor (Czech Republic)—a region often described as the historical heart of Czech art glass. For generations, workshops in and around Nový Bor have been shaping, refining and finishing decorative glass for European interiors, and Egermann pieces became especially recognizable for their refined colour tones and strong design language. A short note on the tradition Bohemian glass is famous not only for clarity and craftsmanship, but also for its decorative techniques—from colour overlays and cutting to optic patterns that play with light. The “olives” décor belongs to this design tradition: it is made to multiply reflections, create depth and give the vase a sculptural presence even when empty. In daylight it looks crisp and architectural; under warm evening light it becomes soft and almost glowing. Design & craftsmanship Optic “olives” pattern: repeated lens-like shapes across the entire body, producing a 3D effect and rich highlights Light purple tint: subtle, elegant and timeless—works beautifully with both minimalistic and classic interiors Form: tall, slightly tapered silhouette with a clean rim—balanced proportions and strong display impact Handmade character: each piece shows the charm of traditional production, where the goal is not mass uniformity but a finished object with presence Details Brand / origin: Egermann, Nový Bor (Czech Republic) Material: glass Colour: light purple Height: 30 cm Condition: very good collectible condition (minor traces of handling are possible on handmade glass); label/mark visible
