Bruno Paolo Benedetti - White and Blue Abstractions

Bruno Paolo Benedetti, born in the year 1954, began to take pictures, studying perspective and photo techniques, in the year 1968. Since the begin he was concerned with black and white photography, observing the contrast s of the nature, the lights and interpreting the reality around him. When he was 25 he began to work in the dark room, enhancing his technique using filters, high contrast films for making his first pictures of surreal and abstract photography. At the same time he began journeying around Europe and the world: India, Nepal, Bhutan, Southern America, South Africa, Egypt, Comoros islands are some of the most visited places. The study of the religions, the mysticism in all of them, inspired his artistic production, especially his surreal photography, where cultural and religious archetypes are depicted. Printed on fine art Hahnemuehle PhotoRag Baryta 315 gsm, Hand signed Limited edition 1 of 10 White and Blue Abstracions This original contemporary photograph captures a fleeting moment where light and water merge into a fluid abstraction of remarkable elegance. Soft ivory tones dissolve into deep, luminous blues, while delicate dark lines trace organic forms across the surface, creating a composition that feels both spontaneous and meticulously balanced. The image is entirely derived from natural reflections, transformed by movement into a painterly visual language reminiscent of abstract expressionism. The interplay between brightness and shadow generates depth and quiet dynamism, inviting the viewer to discover shifting shapes and subtle details within the surface. Refined yet emotionally resonant, this work stands as a sophisticated exploration of perception, distortion, and light — a compelling addition to any contemporary art collection.
