All items are shipped from Japan.
This is a Japanese ceramic vase.
It features a calm brown glaze with a band of geometric decoration around the body, combining rustic simplicity with decorative appeal.
The gently rounded, sake-bottle-shaped form provides a stable silhouette and harmonizes well with both traditional and modern interiors. Fine crackle (crazing) can be seen on the surface, reflecting the natural effects of the firing process.
A mark is present on the base, and a wooden storage box (tomobako) is included, with inscriptions on the lid. While the exact artist has not been identified, the piece reflects the aesthetic of Japanese Mingei (folk craft) and regional kiln traditions.
Condition: Overall in good condition, however there is a very small chip on the rim (please refer to photos). Minor wear and surface marks consistent with age and storage may also be present.
Size (approx.):
Height: 25.5 cm
Mouth diameter: 5 cm
Body width: 13 cm
The item will be carefully packed for shipping.
