Artist’s statement:

This piece is a meditation on cultural memory suspended in water. I wanted to explore how the elegance of the geisha—symbol of discipline, ritual, and beauty might transform when freed from gravity and noise. Underwater, her gestures lose their formality and become something softer, almost dreamlike. The koi carp serve as companions and metaphors: persistence, renewal, the quiet cycle of thought that keeps moving even in the deepest calm. What remains is a drifting moment where heritage, nature, and silence coexist an echo of motion preserved beneath the surface.

My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
