A charming collection of three Greek travel icons, representing different styles of religious art and pilgrimage mementos from Greece.
-Icon of Saint Athanasius the Great, depicted in Hierarchical vestments, holding the Gospel and offering a blessing. Embossed silver-plated metal cover ("Riza") over a lithographic print. Set in a decorative black arched frame with an integrated stand.
-Virgin Mary "The Directress" (Hodegetria) - Tinos Souvenir. The Virgin Mary with the Christ Child, a specific commemorative piece from the Holy Island of Tinos. Mixed media with a gold-toned repoussé cover and lithographic faces. Features the inscription "ΤΗΝΟΣ" (Tinos) at the base. Mounted on a wooden board with a vintage metal stand on the reverse.
-Virgin Mary "Sweet-Kissing". A tender depiction of the Mother of God and Child. High-quality print on wood with a "Crackle" (Craquelure) varnish finish to simulate an aged, antique look. Features a raised, gilded halo.
