An extraordinary female helmet mask, very elongated in shape (reminiscent of Modigliani’s paintings), made of synthetic material, painted in red and white. In addition to the sacred masks used for rituals, the Bobo
make masks for entertainment called Bole (sing. Bolo). These are helmet-style masks that rest on the back or
helmet-shaped masks. They depict characters or animals (antelope, ram, monkey, rooster…) and are adorned with fibres.
