This is a Guyatone FLIP VALVE series MM-1 METAL MONSTER, a tube hybrid distortion pedal made in Japan in the early 1990s. The pedal has been carefully cleaned and tested. It operates properly with a DC 9V center-negative adapter. There are no scratchy pots or unwanted noise both before and after cleaning. Please note that this model operates only with an external power supply (DC 9V center-negative adapter). Battery operation is not supported. The adapter is not included. This unit features a built-in vacuum tube (12AX7A / ECC83 type), allowing for tonal variation by swapping tubes, which adds to its versatility and appeal.
