Zui-un - Botella (5) - Loza de gres, esmalte dorado - Conjunto japonés de sake

瑞雲 Zuiun Title of Artwork: Black & Gold Japanese Sake Set — Double-Gourd Tokkuri & Guinomi by Zuiun A refined Japanese sake set by the ceramicist Zuiun (瑞雲), comprising two tokkuri (sake decanters) and three guinomi (sake cups). Each piece is wheel-thrown in a dark iron-rich stoneware clay body — matte, deeply textured in earthy charcoal and brown-black tones — with a stunning contrast: the interiors are lined entirely in brilliant gold glaze, luminous and warm as firelight. The tokkuri are formed in the classic double-gourd (hyotan) silhouette, two harmonious spheres balanced one atop the other, accented by a thin gold collar at the waist and a gold-rimmed mouth. The guinomi cups echo this beauty in miniature — rugged and unassuming on the outside, radiant gold within. The exterior surfaces carry honest throwing marks and the irregular iron flushes of a skilled hand at the wheel. The potter's seal (toin) is stamped on the base of each tokkuri. A set that embodies the Japanese love of quiet drama: simplicity on the surface, hidden gold within. Size Tokkuri (each): Height: 10.7 cm Width (diameter): 7.5 cm Mouth diameter: 2.4 cm Guinomi (each): Height: 2.8 cm Width (diameter): 5.5 cm Weight Tokkuri (each): 159 g Guinomi (each): 32 g Total set (5 pieces): approx. 414 g Condition All five pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Gold interiors and all exterior surfaces are clean and intact. Artist Profile 瑞雲 Zuiun is a Japanese studio ceramicist working in the tradition of refined sake-ware. Working with dark iron-rich stoneware, Zuiun employs wheel-throwing and gold-glaze interiors to create pieces that balance austere exteriors with luminous inner surfaces — a hallmark of sophisticated Japanese ceramic aesthetics. A potter's seal (toin) is stamped on the base of the tokkuri. 【Shipping Notice】 Due to the current situation in the Middle East, shipment from Japan may not be possible to certain regions.
