Cuenco para té - Gres - Cuenco de matcha

Item Description This exceptional chawan (matcha tea bowl) is a signed work by a Japanese studio potter, presented in a kiri (paulownia wood) tomobako — the traditional lidded box that accompanies authenticated works of Japanese ceramic art. The glaze is the undisputed star of this piece: a sweeping gradation of copper-green shifts from warm olive-yellow at the lip and upper body through rich forest green to a deep charcoal grey-black at the lower body, creating an atmospheric, landscape-like surface that changes subtly with every shift of light. The interior is equally compelling, with luminous streaks of emerald running over a dark, mirror-like base — reminiscent of rain-soaked foliage reflected in still water. A neat, well-trimmed foot ring anchors the tall, slightly conical form, and a square seal is impressed beneath, confirming the hand of its maker. Whether used in the tea ceremony or displayed as an object of contemplation, this bowl rewards close attention. Size Height: 8 cm Width: 12 cm Weight 261 g Condition In very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs; natural kiln variations in the glaze surface are inherent to the work and not considered defects. NOITICE: The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by Japan Post, DHL or FedEx depend on the situation. It takes about 3 weeks to receive normally. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Sometimes Customes or delivery company in your country contact you for Customs clearance via phone or email. Please make sure that you could answer the phone. If you don't, the parcel will return to me and it cost more double shipping fee for reshipping. I appreciate your cooperation.
