Volume I. ONLY
Bound in full leather with gilt detail to spine. Measuring approx.23.7cm x 15.2cm x 3.7cm. Leather is scuffed/rubbed with some marks and there is a small dent/chip to front board. There is a small portion of paper to centre of front and rear boards. The top third of leaves have staining, getting smaller upt o centre of the volume. Ink annotation with ink staining/scoring to top of title page (which has bled through to following three leaves). Pencil number to half title page and pencil mark to verso of title page. A section of six or so leaves are detaching and have wrinkle/chip to inner edge. Lightly thumbed with some corner bumps and creases. A couple of the folding plates are a little misfolded/creased/worn and are frayed to edges. Some marks and occasional creases. Lacking one text leaf and two plates. Contents are cracking/straining in places, although the majority of contents are in reasonably clean condition.
