Guillermo Andrés Lorca García-Huidobro (Santiago de Chile, 14 de marzo de1984. He is a Chilean painter, noted for his role in contemporary figurative painting. With a neo-baroque style, he combines classicism with a dreamlike imagery. His work is characterized by the representation of scenes that move between magic and realism. His large-format paintings, influenced by artists such as Rubens, Doré and Velázquez, explore the tension between childhood and the wild, beauty and danger. He possesses an amazing international career and a unique and distinct pictorial language. He has held important exhibitions, including The Asprey Exhibition in London, “Eternal Life” at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Chile and "Splendor of the night" at the MOCO Museum in Barcelona, Spain. On these days, he's on collaborations with the famous actioner Simon de Pury, art galleries and museums, most of which are concentrated in Europe.
