The Historical Significance:
Launched in 1976, the Canon AE-1 changed the world of photography forever. It was the first SLR camera to integrate a micro-CPU, allowing for sophisticated shutter-priority auto-exposure. Its reliability and ease of use made it a global bestseller and it remains a cult classic among film enthusiasts today.

Versatile Zoom Lens:
This kit features the New FD 35-70mm f/4 lens. This constant-aperture zoom lens covers the most essential focal lengths, from wide-angle for landscapes to short-telephoto for portraits, making it a highly practical "walk-around" lens for vintage photography.

Technical Condition:

Body (Canon AE-1 Silver): All basic functions have been tested and are working correctly (Power, Shutter, Shutter Speeds). The light meter is active, though precision is not guaranteed due to its vintage nature. The Date Back A is also powered.

Lens (New FD 35-70mm f/4): The mechanics are smooth, including the helicoid and aperture rings.

Optics: The body viewfinder has minor dust but remains clear for composition. The lens shows some internal dust, moderate cloudiness (haze), and mold, typical for its age, which may add a soft, vintage character to images but does not prevent overall use.

Physical Appearance: Shows moderate signs of use including scratches and scuffs consistent with its history, giving it an authentic vintage aesthetic. Please refer to the photos for a detailed visual assessment.
