Artist’s statement:

This piece is part of an ongoing exploration of identity dissolved in symbolism. The koi represent persistence, transformation, and memory in motion, while the geisha figure embodies stillness, restraint, and inherited ritual. What interests me is the tension between what moves and what remains. In Koi Dreams #2, the water becomes a threshold between worlds—where the self is not lost, but gently multiplied through reflection and repetition.
