14 cm long x 10 cm wide Otudus Megalodon fossilized teeth It is a very beautiful Megalodon teeth which have some unique features in addition to its long length of 14 cm and broad width of 10 cm. The teeth is highly curved along the yz and xy direction. the curvature of teeth happens due to pressure of other teeth inside the jaw. Also, the roots of the teeth are more curved. based on the profile of the teeth it is from the upper jaw of the shark. The teeth features excellent serrations and a nice bourlette. Another very cool feature of the teeth is the natural erosion of serrations which certainly points towards the usage of upper left side of teeth resulting in serration being eroded when that particular Megalodon was alive. The fossil also has golden-yellow coloration which points to presence of Iron compounds during the fossilization process. Overall the teeth is in excellent shape. The side of roots have extra re-enforcement material added to make it long lasting other than that there is no repair-restoration based on our detailed inspection of teeth.
