"Martin Rodriguez Rio, born in Argentina and based in Barcelona since 2016, has devoted himself entirely to art since 2008. Self-taught with a background in graphic design, he seeks to express his true essence through his artwork. Martin paints what makes him happy, using mainly oil, graphite and even wine. His art reflects an energy of peace, fulfillment and gratitude, and he creates harmonious works that inspire serenity and happiness"

"Martin RR. A master artist on the road to superheroes! Martín Rodríguez Río, originally from Argentina, spent his childhood in the countryside, immersed in a world apart where he imagined himself as Tarzan, a Roman gladiator, Robin Hood or a cowboy. Very quickly, his older brother introduced him to comic books, which triggered his desire to put all this universe on paper. 2008 is the turning point for Martin Rodriguez, the year he decides to devote himself body and soul to painting, starting with what surrounds and inspires him the most: landscapes. Buenos Aires is his springboard. He met an important art dealer who introduced him to the world of polo an quickly made him a master and an absolute expert of international renown in this field. The meeting in Spain with Juan Giménez, the master of science fiction art, to whom he became close, was decisive and oriented Martin Rodríguez´s horizons towards the world of fantastic characters and superheroes. His works quickly find their place in successful exhibitions in the Iberian Peninsula. Martin Rodriguez became a close collaborator of Giménez in the creation of large format illustrations, but also his official restorer. From this collaboration, Martin Rodriguez transmits his knowledge of animal painting to Giménez. After the death of Juan Giménez, Martin Rodriguez begins to create fantasy, superheroes, through a unique production of oil paintings, production of exceptional quality that had already made him recognized as an artist of international renown.
