A deep, dark Tenmoku base rises from the foot, rich and almost molten in appearance. From the rim, a thick white glaze flows downward in bold, organic cascades — like snow melting over a rugged landscape, or waterfalls cutting through dark stone. Each drip is frozen mid-motion, preserving the raw energy of the kiln.

No two angles tell the same story. As the light shifts, the surface reveals layers of depth, texture, and subtle variations created entirely by chance during firing. This is not a controlled decoration, but a collaboration between the artist and the unpredictable forces of nature.
