The circular shape symbolises longevity — a classic Chinese motif, very common on decorative Chinese porcelain intended for export. Cylindrical opalescent glass vase with monochrome red decoration on a white background, featuring Chinese-inspired ornamental motifs and the ‘Shou’ symbol (longevity), with repetitive arabesques and stylised panels, a symmetrical composition typical of Chinese or Chinese-inspired (Chinoiserie) production.
