In 1930, Faustino Martínez began bottling wine in Rioja (an innovative practice at the time). In 1957, Julio Faustino launched the international brand, driving its global expansion. Currently, it exports to more than 70 countries. -Faustino I Gran Reserva 1994 Excellent vintage in Rioja. Aging: ~26 months in oak barrels (mainly American oak) Minimum 36 months in bottle Total: More than 5 years before its release, typical of a classic Gran Reserva. -Faustino I Gran Reserva 1995 Excellent vintage in Rioja. Aging: ~25 months in oak barrels (80% American oak + 20% French oak) Minimum 36 months in bottle. Faustino I Gran Reserva 2011 Aged; 24 months in oak barrels and many more in the bottle. The 2011 vintage in Rioja was declared Excellent. - Bottle condition: no visible leaks, label and net intact. - Wines with such extended aging should not be compared to modern wines. This bottle is intended for palates accustomed to vintage wines or for collectors. Always stored in a private, temperature-controlled cellar. IMPORTANT!
