This is a Leica PC Super-Angulon 28/2.8 shift lens whose bayonet has been replaced to fit Minolta/Sony A mount bodies. THE LENS NO LONGER FITS LEICA R BODIES. Very good mechanical and optical condition. No traces on glass, no oil on blades, smooth operation. Comes with box, leather pouch and shade. The lens operation is fully manual. Focus is of course manual, but so is the aperture: Aperture is preset with the ring, but the 5-blade diaphragm only closes when pushing a lever, which makes it easier to compose and focus at full aperture, and then close down to shoot. It is advisable to mesure expose before shifting the lens. And, of course, to use a tripod. The lens mount rotates in 45° increments to adjust the direction of shift. No tilt. There is no native A-mount shift lens, so this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity.
