Descripción del vendedor
Camo Space Tile (Black & Green & White) by Invader
Official tile from the Invader Space Station
Dimensions: 10 x 10cm
Year: 2024
Limited edition
Stamped on the back
New, never opened, photos taken from other set
This ceramic tile was created in 2024 by Invader on the occasion of the exhibition Invader Space Station, held in Paris in the former premises of the newspaper Libération.
Presented as an individual tile, it features the artist’s characteristic pixelated aesthetic, here developed in a Camo variation, based on a specific graphic pattern and colour palette.
These tiles were produced specifically for the exhibition and were sold on site during the event.
Each tile constitutes an autonomous artwork, conceived as a collectible object directly linked to this Parisian exhibition of 2024.
Space Invader is a French artist who started his urban art activities in the late 1990s, when he first glued ceramic mosaics of Space invaders across the streets of Paris.
His artworks can now be found all around the world. In 2019, astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti brought one of Invader’s works to the International Space Station, about 248 miles above Earth. Invader has exhibited internationally, with shows in Los Angeles, Paris, Brussels, and Hong Kong, among other cities.
