Plato - Porcelana - SIN RESERVA

Description A Chinese porcelain plate from the Yongzheng or early Qianlong period (circa 1725–1750), decorated in famille rose enamels with a rare and attractive scene of Xi Wangmu (Queen Mother of the West) in her garden. The decoration shows Xi Wangmu beside a deer, accompanied by a small attendant or child offering a flower beneath a pine tree, while a crane flies above. These motifs are closely associated with longevity, prosperity, and immortality in Chinese symbolism. The plate is lightly molded and subtly contoured. The rim is decorated with alternating floral motifs and insects, complementing the central scene. The reverse remains undecorated, typical of this type of porcelain. Although the enamels show considerable wear, the plate still retains a charming decorative presence and remains an interesting example of early Qing famille rose porcelain. Age Yongzheng / early Qianlong period, Qing dynasty (circa 1725–1750) Measurements Diameter: 22.5 cm Height: 3.0 cm Condition Considerable wear to the enamels throughout. The rim shows fritting and small chips, including one somewhat larger chip to the reverse rim. No hairlines or restorations. Please refer carefully to the photographs for details. All objects are packed with the greatest care and shipped fully insured. All objects are examined carefully under strong UV light. The condition is described with great care, aiming to reflect the actual state of the object as closely as possible.
