This painting explores the existential question of human existence, identity, and self-perception, the quiet but persistent dialogue we have with ourselves when trying to understand who we are.
A thought in the moment, a snap, a question.
The work captures a fleeting emotional impulse and a moment of self-reflection. Something internal that appears suddenly and disappears just as quickly, but still leaves a weight behind.
Through layered paint, texture, and instinctive brushwork, I wanted to create a feeling rather than a fixed narrative, something open enough for the viewer to connect with in their own personal way.
