In Echoes of Peace I sought to weave together human form, gesture and a silent symbol — a dove bearing an olive branch — to evoke a moment of calm, hope, and inner reconciliation. The bold, flowing blue shapes trace a figure in a gentle embrace of self and spirit; within the very curves, a dove rises, offering its message of peace.

The dove with an olive branch has been through the ages a universal emblem of hope, renewal and harmony.

In this composition, it becomes not just a sign, but a feeling — soft, yet insistent; quiet, yet alive.

The abstract contour of the human figure and the bird become almost one: they mirror each other, symbolising our constant search for inner balance, acceptance and unity. I imagine this painting as a gentle whisper reminding us that peace — whether in the world or within ourselves — begins with opening our hearts, extending our hands, and choosing calm over noise.

May it invite you to pause, breathe, and remember that after every storm, there comes the warm hush of a dove in flight.
