Maillart's "Les Ronsures" 2020 is a Blanc de Noirs of great expressive power, interpreting the Pinot Noir from the Bouzy Grand Cru with depth, precision, and elegant tension. In the glass, it displays a deep gold color with coppery highlights, permeated by a fine, persistent perlage. The nose is rich, deep, and layered, with notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, and red plum, followed by sweet spices, white pepper, and subtle nuances of brioche, toasted bread, and fine pastries. On the palate, it is broad and structured, yet dynamic, with rich texture supported by a saline freshness that lengthens the sip. The texture is creamy yet taut, with a perfect balance between power and finesse. The finish is long, savory, and slightly smoky, with great precision and persistence.
Produced by Champagne Maillart , this Champagne comes from a single Grand Cru parcel in Bouzy, one of the most suitable terroirs in the Montagne de Reims for Pinot Noir, known for its unique combination of structure and finesse. Vinification takes place in wood and without dosage (Brut Nature), a choice that enhances the purity of the fruit and an unmediated interpretation of the terroir. The 2020 vintage, warmer and more generous, offers greater breadth and aromatic maturity, while maintaining the taut, mineral, and vertical style typical of the house.

Franck Pascal 's Champagne Luminance 2019 is a Blanc de Blancs of extraordinary purity, emblematic of the biodynamic approach and profound respect for nature that guide the winemaker's work. Luminance enhances the elegance, finesse, and clarity of Chardonnay: sourced 100% from the terroirs of Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, it reveals the crisp minerality of hard limestone, the smoky nuances of flint, and the pleasant bitterness of white clay. This 2019 vintage is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes of exceptional quality.
Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, without filtration or fining, to preserve the integrity and vitality of the wine. After tirage, it ages on the lees for at least four years, while the final dosage of 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, enhances the clarity and mineral tension that define Franck Pascal's unmistakable style.
Upon tasting, Luminance 2019 presents a luminous, pale yellow with golden highlights. The nose is refined and eloquent, with notes of fresh citrus, green apple, and white flowers intertwined with a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is pure and vibrant, with silky bubbles accompanying a taut and dynamic structure, while the long, savory finish reveals a crystalline energy. A radiant and vibrant Blanc de Blancs Champagne, perfectly embodying the light and harmony of its name.
