Josep Morell - Spain – Canary Isles - Década de 1930

Vintage travel poster original for Spain – Canary Isles, illustrated by the celebrated Catalan graphic artist Josep Morell Macías (1899–1949), one of the most prominent Spanish poster designers of the 1930s and 40s. Published by the Spanish State Tourist Department and printed by Seix y Barral, Barcelona.

The composition features two women in traditional Canarian dress against a harbour backdrop, showcasing Morell's characteristic bold use of colour and dynamic diagonal composition. A rare and visually striking example of mid-century Spanish tourism graphic art.

Morell's original posters are actively sought by collectors worldwide and regularly appear at major auction houses.

Condition: Displays very well from the front with vivid original colours. Verso shows fold lines and period repairs consistent with age. Sold unrestored.
