Biography | LACRISS
Nacida en Roma en abril de 1990, LACRISS vive el arte como una necesidad instintiva: una realidad que siempre le ha pertenecido. Desde sus días escolares, el dibujo emergió como un llamado natural: recuerda no salir nunca de casa sin un lápiz en el bolsillo, como un amuleto.
Cuando se aburría de la grisura de los edificios o sentía que su conversación seguía un ritmo distinto, lo sacaba para dibujar y dar forma a sus pensamientos, llegando incluso a crear ciudades imaginarias enteras en los bordes de periódicos y servilletas. Ese lápiz era su escudo contra la banalidad del mundo y la prueba de que, mientras tuviera una marca que dejar, tendría una realidad en la que habitar. Esta pasión absoluta se ha convertido hoy en una profesión definida.
Influenciada por la cultura urbana, el Street Art y la fotografía, su trabajo encuentra su lugar en la escena del arte contemporáneo con un estilo visceral y original. LACRISS desarrolla un lenguaje confiado e instintivo sobre lienzo, donde las gotas de pintura, los audaces brochazos acrílicos y las capas de spray ensucian la superficie en un caos armonioso. El uso de medios mixtos (carboncillo, lápices, marcadores y tintas) genera obras vibrantes y coloridas que exudan la energía de la calle, al tiempo que mantienen una presencia monumental.
