Descripción del vendedor
“Salt Skin” #4 XL is a visual artwork by Nik Haku that explores the body as a quiet extension of water. Emerging from a dark, still surface, the figure remains suspended between immersion and presence. Gentle ripples expand outward, dissolving the boundary between skin and landscape. The body does not interrupt the water; it becomes part of its rhythm. Silence settles here as a state of calm absorption.
Artist’s statement:
This piece reflects on stillness as a form of belonging. Water becomes both mirror and shelter, holding the body without resistance. Salt Skin speaks of what remains after contact with sea, time, and solitude—traces that cannot be seen, yet continue to shape us.
Artwork details:
• Limited Edition: 1/10
Printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Premium Silk Paper and is sold unframed.
Its elegant finish and subtle texture lend a sophisticated appearance, with vibrant, rich colors. The paper’s natural resistance also helps protect the print from fingerprints and scratches.
Each piece is individually numbered and signed, and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The print is carefully rolled, packaged, and shipped via tracked and insured express courier from Spain to destinations worldwide.
About the artist:
I’m Nik Haku, a visual artist and photographer exploring the space between the real and the altered.
My practice blends multiple techniques —primarily fine art photography, complemented by painting— to construct images that move fluidly between mediums. My work spans portraiture and landscapes, beginning with photographic capture and evolving through painting, AI, and digital manipulation. I aim to create visual worlds where memory, identity, and imagined space overlap, dissolving the boundaries between what is seen and what is felt.
