She completed the master’s course in Nihonga at the Graduate School of Tohoku University of Art and Design in 2012. She is known for paintings of animals based on close observation. In 2012, she received the Grand Prize at the 5th Toneyama Kojin Memorial Grand Prize Exhibition Triennale Kitakami.
