Description:
An exceptional and highly collectible antique horological lot featuring a Swiss-made "Goliath" pocket watch housed in its original, heavily decorated Sterling Silver repoussé desk case (watch holder/travel case).
The desk case features an exquisite, high-relief Victorian/Edwardian repoussé design adorned with floral scrolls, ornate motifs, and distinct cherub/putti faces in each of the four corners .
The pocket watch itself is fully removable and functions beautifully as a desk, nightstand, or carriage clock when placed inside its custom-fitted, velvet-lined display frame.
The silver case features a full set of British hallmarks
