Tan pronto como comenzó a pintar de niño, Llaverias transformó todas las imágenes en formas geométricas. Estudió grabado, cerámica y, más tarde, diseño de joyería en Barcelona. Lleva más de 25 años pintando y se ha aferrado a la abstracción, que actúa como guía en toda su obra. La obra abstracta de Llaverias busca explorar los límites de la pintura, tanto en formas como en colores. Sus pinturas aluden al movimiento hippie de la década de 1960, el artista busca encontrar e inventar imágenes que aún no se conocen, o que no han sido utilizadas antes.
