• Hand Signed by the Artist • Original Preliminary Cover Composition for the Leo Roa Project • Certificate of Authenticity Included • Ready to Frame This exceptional original pencil artwork by legendary Argentine master Juan Giménez is a unique preliminary cover composition created for the Leo Roa project. Executed entirely in graphite, this one-of-a-kind drawing captures the earliest creative stage of a published cover, where composition, character placement, and narrative tension are first conceived through the artist's spontaneous hand. The dynamic scene places the young protagonist at the center of an action-filled prehistoric adventure, desperately riding a massive dinosaur while smaller reptiles and flying creatures reinforce the sense of movement and danger. Dominating the upper section are two expressive character portraits that establish the emotional focus of the composition, a classic storytelling device frequently employed by Giménez in his cover designs. Construction lines, compositional corrections, and energetic pencil strokes remain clearly visible, offering collectors an authentic glimpse into the creative process of one of comics' greatest visual storytellers. Original preliminary cover artworks by Juan Giménez are considerably rarer than finished illustrations, preserving the immediacy and creative energy of the artist's first ideas before refinement. Hand-signed by the artist, this unique piece represents an outstanding opportunity for collectors of original comic art, science fiction illustration, and museum-quality graphic storytelling. ▸ Original graphite pencil on paper – Format: 42 × 30 cm (unframed) Juan Giménez (1943–2020) was one of the most celebrated comic artists of the international scene.
