Edwardian Sterling Silver Crook Handle Walking Stick – London, 1916 Elegant English walking stick fitted with a solid sterling silver crook handle, fully hallmarked for London, 1916, together with the maker's mark. The crook handle has a smooth polished finish, terminating in a distinctive planished (dimpled) knop, creating a subtle textured contrast while retaining the restrained elegance characteristic of the late Edwardian period. It is mounted on a black ebonised hardwood shaft of elegant proportions. The walking stick remains in good antique condition. The silver handle shows light surface scratches together with a few small dents consistent with age and normal use. The shaft is straight and sound with minor wear. The original ferrule is no longer present, as shown in the photographs.
