Unique Handcrafted Glass Kokeshi Doll by Maciej Habrat This unique fused glass sculpture is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Japanese Kokeshi doll, created by Polish glass artist Maciej Habrat. The sculpture was entirely handcrafted using the fusing technique, in which carefully selected layers of opal and transparent glass are fused together at high temperature. The composition is enriched with delicate floral motifs and a detail of 24-carat gold, adding a refined accent to the artwork. The characteristic simplified form of the Kokeshi doll has been reinterpreted in a distinctly contemporary style. Its expressive face, decorative composition and carefully crafted details give the sculpture a strong visual presence, while the traditional inspiration creates a fascinating connection between Japanese cultural heritage and modern European glass art. Each work by Maciej Habrat is individually designed and handcrafted in his studio in Poland. The artist has been working with glass for over 20 years and is known for transforming the demanding technique of fused glass into distinctive sculptural and decorative forms. This is a unique, one-of-a-kind artwork, personally signed by the artist. Dimensions: Height: 27 cm Width: 13,5 cm Depth: 6,5 cm The sculpture will be carefully packed in an elegant gift box.
