Augustus - Mariner - Sin precio de reserva - Hombre - 1970-1979

From the photo, this appears to be a vintage Augustus Mariner dive-style wristwatch. Here are the details I can make out: * Brand: Augustus * Model: Mariner * Dial markings: “17 RUBIS” (17 jewels) and “ANTICHOC” (French for shock-protected movement) * Movement: Most likely a 17-jewel manual-wind or automatic Swiss movement from the late 1960s to early 1970s. “Antichoc” was a common marking for Swiss shock protection. * Date: Magnified date window at 3 o’clock showing “26.” * Style: Compressor-inspired diver with an internal-looking black timing bezel and tonneau (barrel) case. * Hands: White paddle-style hour and minute hands with an orange seconds hand. * Crystal: Appears to be acrylic, showing scratches consistent with age. Condition Based on the image: Positives * Original-looking dial with attractive brown/charcoal sunburst finish. * Hands and applied indices appear intact. * Date magnifier is present. * Case seems unpolished or only lightly polished. Age I’d estimate circa 1968–1975. Collectability Augustus was not one of the major Swiss luxury brands, but many smaller Swiss manufacturers produced solid watches using reliable ETA, AS, FHF, or similar movements. These watches are appreciated by vintage enthusiasts for their styling rather than brand prestige. Estimated value (if original) * Not running / for repair: approximately US$40–150 * Running well, original: approximately US$250-300 * Recently serviced and in excellent condition: up to US$250–350, depending on the movement and originality. Funcțional!
